Myself and Dan Hect C.E.O of the Masters Hall of fame

Hello, my name is Eddie Morales and welcome to Martialforce.com Online Martial Arts Magazine. Being the Editor of Martialforce.com affords me the opportunity to meet some of the best Martial Artist of the past and present. I visit different events in hopes of finding a good story to write about but while all events are put together with the best of intentions there are some that have no lasting impression on its visitors.

On Saturday 27 2011, I attended the Masters Hall of Fame with two reasons, the first was to cover the event and the second to meet old friends and make new ones. The event was held at the Anaheim convention center in sunny California. From what I could see at my arrival, there were many already in attendance.  The list was endless, from UFC competitors to old school Karateka and film stars.

The days festivities began with former UFC fighter Marcus Bossett demonstrating the art of Kyudo (Japanese Archery), which he holds the rank of Godan (Fifth Degree Black Belt). He and his group did a flawless demonstration that had everyone understanding the meaning of a disciplined mind and body. Skill of this magnitude is always appreciated but more so when the entire room was filled with some of the best highly skilled Martial Artist . As the event continued we saw more of the who's who of Martial Arts throughout the room.

The event went in a timely and well planned manner and everyone seemed happy to have attended.

Don Warrener being the guest speaker explained his background as well as gave a few tips on how to break into the film industry. His presentation was followed with video clips and detailed explanations on what we were looking at. All in all, I was very impressed with Mr.Warrener words and presentations as was the many that attended which showed there appreciation with a standing ovation.

Dan and Dana Hect kept the event running smoothly and not once did I here any complaints. I could here people in attendance around the table where I was seated already talking about all the people they want to bring next year.

At our table was seated one of the ambassadors of the event, my good friend Robert Parham who introduced me to action film star Conan Lee. My impression of Conan is that he was very humble and down to earth. As the day progressed Conan spoke on a multitude of subjects always in a positive manner. Also seated at the table were nominees Tarek Hussein and Chyna Mccoy both of which I had previously interviewed on Martialforce.com. Another great man that I interviewed was seated with us as well, Master Larry White.

There were so many great people in attendance that the list would be too long to print. The room was filled with many countries represented from  Japan, Switzerland, India and many more. To all that are reading this article we here at Martialforce.com highly recommend this event and we salute its creators for providing a thoughtful and honoring platform for its well deserved recipients. This is one event that has definitely left with me a lasting impression with positive memories. Many friendships were forged and yes folks, I will be in attendance next year, I hope to see you all there.
