AN INTERVIEW WITH CHYNA MCCOY
“My occupation is full time dreamer, part time filmmaker.”
My name is Eddie Morales and welcome to Martialforce.com Online Martial Arts Magazine. I want to introduce our readers to Chyna McCoy. I first met Chyna through a mutual friend, Actor / Martial Artist Michael Jai White. Michael and I would meet once a week at Tujunga Park located in the city of Los Angeles. We would train together as well as work on fight scenes for whatever project he was involved with at the time. For many Martial Artists, Tujunga Park became the place to workout. One day Michael was mentioning a friend of his by the name of Chyna McCoy that could do incredible stunts and acrobatics as well as Martial Arts. It was almost like an introduction on a stage because when he finished telling me about him, this guy walked up to us that turned out to be Chyna. From that day on Chyna and a few other Martial artist joined us in our training. I have personally been involved in Martial arts since I was a young child, so I can judge if a person really knows there art. Chyna impressed me with both his physical interpretation of the Martial arts and his deep understanding of its workings in regard to application of technique. I met up with Chyna recently and asked him if he would do this interview to which he kindly accepted. Chyna is an original and you will be hearing his name mentioned a lot in the future.
